About Vee

V. Tyson grew up in the South with her mom and siblings. The best part of her childhood was working at her grandparents' family-owned business, Riley’s Grocery & Citgo Station. In this family business, she learned customer service, money management, stocking/purchasing, deli/butchering, grocery delivery, pumping gas, and the importance of a great work ethic.
After graduation, Vee moved north to attend college. As a child, Vee had a special love for children. She loved to babysit, teach, and play with children in the neighborhood and at church. In pursuit of her passion for working with children, Vee attended Prairie State College where she studied Early Childhood Education. Vee went on to pursue a Bachelors in English Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Governors State University.
Vee is the proud parent of two wonderful adult children, Elyse (Isaiah) and Erick. She recently became a grandmother “Grammy” to Chloe and A'Miracle.
Vee is an avid lifelong reader, singer, and speaker at her local church via radio and video presentations. Vee loves writing, traveling, networking, and helping others to reach their greatest potential.

Where's Daddy?

Families are critical to our overall development. Family dynamics include major players like moms, dads and children. Sometimes these dynamics change due to circumstances beyond our control. Divorce changes these dynamics quite frequently leaving questions that we struggle to answer for ourselves and our children. This story is about a little girl who struggled to grasp the meaning of these changes. This book looks at her journey from her own point of view. It is also a reminder that, sometimes, things don’t work out the way we planned, but that we can learn how to adapt to change and can still be happy.
